Emmanuella Ropo, wife of Fuji legend King Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as K1 or Kwam1, has shared a heartfelt tribute mourning the passing of his mother.
It was reported that the Fuji maestro announced the death of his 105-year-old mother, Alhaja Halima Anifowoshe, on Saturday. In line with Islamic customs, she was laid to rest the same day, with a massive crowd gathering to pay their respects.
Taking to Instagram, Emmanuella penned an emotional note honoring her late mother-in-law, whom she described as a priceless jewel. She praised her for embodying the true essence of motherhood and showing her unwavering love and wisdom throughout her life.
Reflecting on her bond with Alhaja Halima, Emmanuella expressed gratitude for her words of wisdom, which she said would serve as a guide through life. She described the late matriarch as a woman with listening ears, comforting arms, endless love, and a heart of gold. She also noted the connection she felt, attributing it to their shared Ekiti heritage.
Concluding her tribute, Emmanuella prayed for her mother-in-law’s spirit to remain with Kwam1 and wished her eternal rest.
