Veteran Yoruba actor Adebayo Salami, popularly known as Oga Bello, has shared his thoughts on what he initially wanted his children to achieve before they ventured into acting and how proud he is of their success in the industry.

In an interview posted on the official YouTube channel of Oga Bello TV, he revealed that he never pressured his children to join the movie industry. Instead, his priority was for them to complete their education.

In his statement, he said, “I never told my children to join film making, my aim was for them to go to school.

When they were younger, they used to plead to me that they wanted to join me at the movie location, but I gave them a condition that if any one of them wanted to join the movie industry, they would have to pass their exams in school.

I had the opportunity to get them decent jobs in lucrative companies, but they refused because they have a passion for film making.”
