Renowned Yoruba actress Abeni Agbon has shed light on why some people were hesitant to associate with her, though many eventually came to understand the reasons behind the roles she frequently portrays in films.
In an interview shared on Kunleafod TV’s official YouTube channel, she revealed that her movie roles often made some individuals wary of engaging with her. However, over time, they began to appreciate the significance of her character choices.
In her statement, she said, “When I started acting movies, some people used to think that I was a wicked person because of the roles I play in movies. Some people were afraid to associate with me because of the roles I play in movies. It later got to a time when some people started to realize that I was only doing my job based on the movie roles that were given to me.”
