Continuing his compassionate mission, Nollywood actor Kunle Afod embarked on a heartfelt journey to locate veteran actor Elegbeje Ado, also known as Ageku Abela.
Recalling his efforts, Kunle Afod described traveling to Parpa in Ewekor to find the esteemed elder of the Yoruba film industry. Despite encountering a treacherous road, he persisted until he found him by the roadside.
Upon meeting, the veteran expressed joy at Kunle Afod’s visit. Upon arriving at his home, he revealed the challenges he faced, including an ongoing struggle to complete his building due to financial constraints and threats of land seizure. Despite these hardships, they persevered, constructing a modest dwelling to call home.
Elegbeje Ado said that when he heard he thought that Kunle Afod won’t be able to come because it was far and the have a very bad road.
Kunle Afod asked him a question which is “I heard that you are now a minister of God” he replied “yes I am” Kunle Futher ask that ” is that the reason why you stop acting or you intentionally wanted to leave acting” he replied “it was not intentional because i was born into acting all my parents and elders are actor, but God was the one that called me so i cant go back from his world”
