“I plan on dedicating a movie to my child after birth, but God plan differ”- Debbie Shokoya reflects on her pregnancy loss as she shares testimony ‎

Yoruba Nollywood actress, Deborah Shokoya, known as Debbie, shared reflections on the difficult experience of losing her pregnancy.

In her message, she highlighted that her intention wasn’t to evoke pity but to offer a testimony. She shed light on the heartbreaking situations where pregnant women face loss, sometimes risking their lives or facing challenges even after childbirth.

Debbie emphasized that although things didn’t proceed as she initially hoped, she found gratitude in the plan that God orchestrated. Despite knowing the pain and challenges, she asserted her resilience, stating that she stands stronger than any pain or adversity.

Debbie took the chance to announce her upcoming movie, a testament to her resilience as a woman and an actress.

She disclosed that she filmed the movie during her pregnancy, fulfilling a long-held desire to act while carrying a child, despite eventually losing the baby.

Expressing her appreciation, the newlywed thanked her husband, referring to him as her better half.
