Veteran Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko embraced a spiritual moment this morning, donning traditional Catholic vestments.
He shared a video on his Instagram page, where he was seen in the iconic attire often associated with the Catholic faith, offering heartfelt prayers.
Kosoko expressed gratitude to his Creator for the gift of life and good health, extending his thanks for the well-being of his fans and followers as well.
“I thank Almighty God that I am alive this morning, whole and hearty; I thank God for your life too, Bi emi ba ea, ireti nbe. Good morning, all”.
Taking to his comment section, one of his fans queried why he wasn’t using his rosary. The fan wrote, “Baba. Where’s your rosary”.
Meanwhile, others took to his comment section to say Amen to his prayers.

A week back, Jide Kosoko had gone spiritual as he revealed that he was officially conferred as the head of his royal family at Oteniya branch. Following the appointment, he was presented to the Oloriebi in Council and wass also re-confirmed as the official Ambassador of the Family. The veteran prayed for wisdom to contribute his quota to the unity and progress of the Family.
Early this year, Jide had issued a statement against drug abuse. He shared a photo of him dressed in an NDLEA outfit as he jokingly declared himself the New Chairman of NDLEA as he read the riot act to the public. He revealed that he would be banning the use of Alabukun, phensic, paracetamol, painstaking drugs, soft drinks, energy drinks, and many more, as he stated that he only recommends and approves the use of water.
