Yoruba Nollywood actress and makeup artist Dewunmi Fatai has openly shared her thoughts on her personal life and future motherhood plans.
In a recent interview with Biola Adebayo, Fatai revealed her strong desire to have another child, emphasizing that she is actively seeking a compatible partner to help fulfill this dream.
As a mother to a nine-year-old son, she expressed feeling incomplete with just one child. She also disclosed that while her child’s father has gone on to have multiple children, she remains with only one. This contrast has strengthened her resolve to expand her family before it becomes too late for her to conceive.
Although Fatai once considered relocating to the United Kingdom, she ultimately chose to stay due to the overwhelming responsibilities the move would bring.
She explained that balancing work, household chores, and childcare on her own would be too stressful. However, she acknowledged that if her personal circumstances changed, she might reconsider the idea of relocating in the future.
She said: “Despite being a single mother, I need a man I can get pregnant for because I want to give birth to one more child before I finally give up on childbirth. I’m not satisfied with only one child; I need another one. My son will be 9 this year, and my baby daddy has already given birth to four while I have only one. I’m single and looking for a good man I can have a child with.”
