“I suffered a setback because of you people, not this time again” – Bolaji Ogunmola fumes as she calls out content steaalers on YouTube, issues them warning

Nollywood actress Bolaji Ogunmola has issued a strong warning to content thieves on YouTube and other social media platforms.

Sharing a post on her Instagram page to promote her latest movie, Bolaji made it clear that she is prepared to confront them. She highlighted the significant amount of money she has invested in creating content and expressed frustration over the setbacks she has endured due to content theft.

Bolaji vowed to take action by calling out the offenders, dragging them publicly, and ensuring her content is taken down from unauthorized platforms.

“To all the thumbnail stealers and content stealers, especially on YouTube. I am ready for you people on this particular project. The amount of money spent on these contents, you have no idea, and I have constantly suffered setbacks because of you people. Not this time; I will drag you, people, call you out, and order takedown. Y’all want to be moving mad”.

A year back, Bolaji had reflected on her past month, which she described as a lot. She revealed that though she won a lot she also cried a lot and almost shut down. Despite it all, she still kept going.

Bolaji isn’t the only one calling out content stealers. Last week, Funke Akindele, who premiered her much-talked-about movie Everybody Loves Jenifa, cried out over the high rate of piracy in Nollywood. The box office Queen urged Nigerians to say No to piracy, which is killing them. Funke noted how she worked so hard on her new project, spent a lot of resources, and is still investing in the movie.

Similarly, last month, Deyemi Okanlawon had spoken out against piracy as he appreciated a fan. Deyemi noted how Nollywood producers, especially newbies like himself try to tell global-level stories, with no support from government or financial institutions, yet Nigerians have no idea how much damage and loss their participation in piracy causes them. Praising the fan, he stated his sweet gesture has made him have hope in Nigerians.
