Nigerian stand-up comedian, Gbadewonuola Olateju Oyelakin, affectionately known as Teju Babyface, wears multiple hats in the entertainment industry, including talk show hosting, producing, and writing.
Teju Babyface, acclaimed for pioneering a fresh talk show format with “The Teju Babyface Show” in 2010, has earned the moniker “The King of Talk” in Nigeria. Recently, during an interview with an actress, he candidly expressed his admiration for Mercy Aigbe, revealing her as his crush.
He said during the talk show ‘I have a picture of me and Mercy Aigbe when she was in UNILAG because I used to toast her back then and she really liked me.
Our gatherings led us to snap a photo together in front of The Arts Theatre. I had intentions of sharing the picture with Mercy someday, but unfortunately, it was stolen,” he lamented.
