Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has called out a fan of Funke Akindele for belittling her work and labeling her a former competitor.
Toyin shared a throwback photo from her photoshoot with the Ijakumo crew, teasing her upcoming film project, which is set to debut in theaters this December.
However, a follower criticized her efforts, comparing her work to Funke Akindele’s and accusing her of constantly copying everything Funke does.
“Must you copy Aunty Funke Akindele in everything Chai?”.
Replying to him, Toyin expressed how tired she is of people saying things about her hard work.
“Pls check my recent post cos I’m tired of you all saying this about my hard work.”
In a since-deleted post on her Instagram page, she stated that she was tired of people putting down her hard work as she noted how she celebrates her crew every time. She stressed that they should stop talking down on her hard work.
“Ijakumo crew photoshoot 2022. 2024, be ready for the Alakadabadandboujee crew. Throwback. Idome Iamme, I Am Tired of some of you people putting down my hard work. I work so hard. I celebrate my crew every time, pls stop talking down on my hard work pls.

It is well-known that there has been a longstanding rivalry between the two screen icons, Toyin Abraham and Funke Akindele, as both have dominated the TV screens for years and continue to do so.
However, the two actresses resolved their differences last year, with Toyin celebrating Funke on her birthday, and Funke returning the gesture. Toyin also attended Funke Akindele’s movie premiere, further quelling rumors of tension between these box office queens.
