Today, April 16, 2024, marks a double celebration for Nollywood star Yomi Gold as it coincides with both his daughter’s and his own birthday.
In a heartfelt post on his Instagram page, Yomi shared a touching video showcasing moments with his daughter throughout the years. He emphasized the significance of being present for his children, whether in the past, present, or future.
As a father of three, Yomi expressed his gratitude for the blessings in his life and prayed for more from the Almighty.

Early last year, Yomi Gold announced his separation from his second wife, Meenah whom he got married to barely a year after previously dumping his first wife of 15 years.
Making the announcement on his Instagram page, Yomi Gold described his wife as a good person who doesn’t deserve someone like him. He stated that she would make a great and loving partner to a far better person than him as he isn’t perfect and needs to be worked on, hence their divorce.
As you may recall, Yomi and his first wife had a fallout in 2018. His wife then accused him of leaving her and their two children to follow Ameenat, a promising actress.
On International Women’s Day last year, he surprised many as he celebrated his exes.
To his first wife, he promised to be a good father to their two kids and to never stop showing up for them. He appreciated her for being supportive and for being a true definition of a loving mother.
For his second wife, he appreciated her for allowing him to be called dad and for everything she did.
