Sarz, the professional name of Osabuohien Osaretin, has revealed that collaborating with the famous singer David “Davido” Adeleke is a challenging experience for him.
Sarz, who is 34 years old, mentioned that despite multiple attempts to collaborate, he’s perplexed as to why their projects together never reach completion.
In an interview on 96.9 Cool FM Lagos, Sarz opened up about his unsuccessful attempts to cultivate a productive working relationship with the DMW boss.
Sarz explained that their contrasting work principles and approaches have hindered them from creating any substantial work together.
Sarz further elaborated that he prefers a quiet working environment, whereas Davido enjoys having his crew around in the studio.
He said; “Davido and I have worked but I don’t just know why it never comes out. I think the way he works and the way I work are very different. I feel like that is a big difference.
“A lot of times when I get in a session with him, there are just like so many people but I’m very used to working with the artist and maybe like two other people alone.
So, when there is so many people, I can’t concentrate. And I think he feeds off that. So, it clashes sometimes. This is from perspective. I don’t know what he thinks.”
