“I’ve spent a lot on this boy” – Hypeman GOE breaks into tears as he part ways with fast-rising singer Barber Chair (Video)

In an emotional video, well-known Nigerian hypeman God Over Everything (GOE), also known as Money Gee, revealed to the public that he has broken up with the rapidly rising artist Barber Chair.

In December 2023, award-winning Nigerian artist Wizkid gave hypeman GOE N20 million, which propelled him to popularity in the country’s music industry.

Since then, Hypeman GOE has continued to showcase his hypeman skills and has gained greater online popularity. He introduced a young artist, Barber Chair, who became well-known for his lyrics, often interpreted as “give me the vibe and share, gimme the mood right now” or “give me the barber chair.”

Hypeman GOE, impressed by the boy’s musical prowess, gave him the name God Over Junior. Together, they produced several tracks, showcasing their combined hyping talents over the past few months.

However, on July 23, 2024, Hypeman GOE shared a video on his official Instagram page announcing that it was over between him and God Over Junior, whose real name is Muiz.

According to Hypeman GOE, the fast-rising singer had become arrogant and unresponsive to corrections over the past few months, making it difficult for him to continue working with him.

In response, God Over Junior stated that he no longer felt comfortable working with Hypeman GOE and was no longer interested in their partnership.

He declared his new name as “Barber Chair” and left with his family, who had come to take him away from Hypeman GOE.

Sharing the video, Hypeman GOE wrote; “GODOVEREVERYTHING 🙏 Muiz has always been arrogant whenever i try to correct him and I can’t cope with someone who is not ready to learn,so I inform his mom about her kid constant misconduct behavior not even knowing his planning to flee by end month which his mom doesn’t know about . So I had to invite his mom today just for him to say whatever might be the cause of his action but he said nothing, then he said his mind doesn’t want to stay with me anymore after 6 months of being responsible for his growth and well being MAY WE NEVER LABOUR IN VAIN 🙏 Thank y’all for the support and care🙏 ❤️.”
