Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has voiced his disapproval of his colleague Iyabo Ojo’s assertion that Naira Marley drugged her children’s food.
According to reports, the actress has openly acknowledged her personal animosity towards the controversial musician Mohbad, apart from the late artist’s situation.
Iyabo Ojo revealed that she once believed the artist was a sensible individual and had even considered sending her children to his residence.
She stated that three or four witnesses had confirmed the incident, alleging that Naira Marley had tampered with the food and drinks her children were offered.
Furthermore, the actress mentioned her intention to pursue her case against Naira Marley once Mohbad’s legal situation was resolved and he received justice.
In an Instagram post, Yomi Fabiyi questioned why Iyabo Ojo didn’t defend her children when the “Yahoo Boy” singer allegedly made such an attempt with them. He raised doubts about a mother’s silence in such a situation, suggesting that the actress might have encouraged the fabrication to implicate Naira Marley.
Yomi went on to propose that Iyabo Ojo’s children should be questioned by the police and the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.
He said;
“I don’t know why Iyabo was sending her children, who are adults, to Naira Marley’s house in the first place. She stated that Naira was putting drugs in their food and she called herself a mother. She never came out to fight for her children then…Maybe she just cooked up this lie to implicate Naira. Why was her daughter laced with drugs if she was not into drugs already? Which mother will keep quiet in such a situation? The NDLEA and the police heard what she said and they are keeping mute. How will this country get better? I expect the NDLEA to invite her to bring her children and investigate her”.
