Veteran Nollywood actor Richard Mofe-Damijo, popularly known as RMD, has sparked conversations online after a recent video surfaced showing him expressing displeasure over how content creator Isbae U addressed him during an interview.
Isbae U, whose real name is Adebayo Ridwan Abidemi, recently hosted RMD on an episode of his YouTube series Curiosity Made Me Ask. However, the interview took an awkward turn when the 30-year-old content creator repeatedly referred to the 63-year-old actor simply as “Richard,” a move many viewers found disrespectful.
RMD, clearly unimpressed by the informal address, called out Isbae U during the show, leading to widespread reactions across social media.
This comes following the release of veteran actor RMD cinematic masterpiece known as “Radio Voice The Movie” which is presently showing in cinemas nationwide.
Reacting to the disrespect by Isbae U who calls him by the name “Richard”, RMD who is aware of the content creator later father, Yoruba actor Kamal Adebayo, better known as Sir Kay-Kamoru who passed on in December 2022 wasted no time in dragging the dead.
When Isbae U said; “So Richard”
RMD swiftly interrupted; “Your father, your father, your papa, your papa left toe.”
RMD urged Isbae U to address him as Mr Mofe-Damijo or rather calls him Uncle RMD noting that his first son is already 41-year-old.
