During an interview on Oyinmomo TV’s official YouTube channel, Okiki revealed that Kunle Afod, known for his disciplined nature, would often resort to physical discipline, including beating him and other actors, whenever they worked together on the same set. He also shared how these experiences shaped his filmmaking career.

In his statement, he said, “Whenever we go to a movie set and we forget to write our script, Kunle Afod is always angry. Kunle Afod used to beat me and other actors whenever we were on a movie set with him. He is a very disciplined person, but if not for the way he used to treat us, maybe I would not be a serious person, and I may not be where I am today.”
