The landlord expresses frustration as he explains the necessity of evicting a tenant who installed an air conditioner in their room despite paying only N8K in monthly rent.
Venting his grievances on social media, the Ghanaian landlord shares a video showcasing the installed AC in the tenant’s room.
The landlord clarified that despite the tenant paying only GH¢100 (equivalent to N8,447.19) in monthly rent, they could afford to purchase an air conditioner, which exceeds the annual rental fee.
He concluded that the tenant evidently values the AC more than the shelter provided by his property.
The landlord said …
“This man rented this place at GH¢100 per month. He rented it for two years, making GH¢2,400 a year but has been able to buy an air conditioner worth GH¢4,500. He’s trying to tell me that the Air con is more important than the room.”
