Ileriouluwa Oladimeji Aloba, the late Nigerian artist better known by his stage name Mohbad’s aunt, has addressed rumors suggesting that his mother abandoned him as a child.
After the singer’s passing, rumors began to circulate, suggesting that the singer’s mother had abandoned him and his older sister following her failed marriage to their father, as reported by Famous9ja.
In a video obtained by Instablog9ja, Mohbad’s younger sister refuted the claims, recalling how their mother had supported Mohbad throughout his struggles with Naira Marley.
She claims that the singer’s mother only agreed to jointly care for him and his older sister after he refused to let her take the other children.
She noted how Mohbad’s mother was there for him during his trials with his former label boss, Naira Marley, and how she stood by him and his wife when they welcomed their son.

Reacting to it, many noted how the mother was present alongside their father, to beg Naira Marley during their dispute.
