“My Husband Was A Touutt He Beats Me Always During Pregnancy” – Twin Love Mother Iya Ibeji Share How She Suffered Because She Was An Orphan

Adeyinka Oladimeji, the mother of popular Nigerian content creators and skit makers Twinz Love, has opened up about her harrowing marriage experience.

In an emotional interview on Debby Show’s official YouTube channel, she revealed that she endured domestic abuse from her husband, particularly during her pregnancies.

Oladimeji recounted how she was frequently subjected to physical violence, with her husband taking advantage of the fact that she had no mother to protect her. She described her marriage as a deeply painful ordeal, marked by relentless mistreatment and emotional suffering.

She revealed that after her marriage, it was her mother’s family who initially supported her. However, as they became preoccupied with their own responsibilities, they eventually left her in the care of her husband’s family. This, she explained, gave her husband the freedom to mistreat her without fear of repercussions.

Oladimeji described her husband as a violent man who showed no compassion, particularly during her pregnancies. She recounted enduring severe beatings, which made her journey into motherhood even more challenging. She attributed her suffering to the absence of a protective figure, believing that if her mother had been alive, her experience might have been different.

She said: “Everyone who has a mother should take care of her very well because a mother is a strong pillar of support who will do anything to ensure her children survive. When I got married, it was my mother’s family that stood up for me. However, because they all had their own responsibilities, they pushed me to my husband’s family, and this allowed my husband to maltreat me however he wanted. Men out there are hooligans and very wicked. My husband used to beat me during pregnancy because I didn’t have a mother who could fight back for me. If I had a mother to defend me, he wouldn’t have been able to maltreat me like that.”
