Omowunmi, the wife of the late musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has spoken out about the difficulties she has endured since his tragic passing in September 2023.
During an interview with Chudeity (With Chude), she expressed her pain and frustration, revealing the numerous challenges, accusations, and threats she has faced since losing her husband.
She further disclosed that her father-in-law has been pressuring her to relinquish all of her son’s properties to him, even threatening to destroy her if she refuses.
She further revealed that her father-in-law has refused to acknowledge her son, Liam, as part of the family, claiming that the child does not share any physical features with them. According to him, Liam’s bow legs and facial appearance make him doubt his paternity.
Omowunmi also stated that her father-in-law went as far as saying that if Mohbad were still alive, he would have thrown the child off the Third Mainland Bridge after realizing he wasn’t his biological son.
In her words, she said “Mohbad would have thrown our son inside third mainland bridge if he was alive, that was what my father-in-law told me”.
