Nollywood actress Olamide Odunlade marked her birthday with a series of breathtaking photos that continue to spark conversations on social media.
In an exclusive interview with Potpourri on March 22, 2025, she opened up about her relationship deal-breakers, emphasizing that trust is non-negotiable.
“Trust is very important to me when dating someone. If my partner can’t trust me, I am ending the relationship because infidelity issues can cause damage to one’s health. And it works the other way around for me too. If I can’t trust you, I also walk away. I don’t want to start nursing high blood pressure at a tender age like mine. Love is one thing, trust is another. Without trust, love is meaningless,” she declared.
Olamide also shared a deeply personal story about a past relationship, revealing that her acting career once cost her a chance at marriage.
“My ex-fiancé’s mum called me and asked me to choose between her son and my career, and I chose my career because I believe in myself and my craft. I chose acting because I have had a passion for it right from childhood, and I have always played the lead role in any drama we did back then. I love acting a lot; it is my life,” she affirmed.
Despite her love for romance, Olamide admitted that financial stability plays a crucial role in relationships.
“Love is a beautiful thing, but let’s not lie—money makes things easier. Love without money can’t work for me,” she confessed.
As for her ideal man, she revealed that she is drawn to men with an impeccable sense of style.
“A man who dresses well and looks neat has a number to my heart,” she added.
