Renowned Afrobeats artist David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has ended his silence by participating in an interview for the first time since the birth of his twin children with his wife, Chioma Avril Rowland.
As previously reported by Famous9ja, Davido, famous for his hit song “Unavailable,” welcomed twins with Chioma in the USA on October 9, 2023. A video clip also surfaced online, featuring Chioma in a wheelchair, cradling the twins, with Davido by her side.
The singer’s father, billionaire Adedeji Adeleke, arrived in his Bentley to capture this special moment.
It’s worth noting that Davido and Chioma tragically lost their 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, to the hands of death on October 31st, 2023.
Davido shared his experience and marveled at the fact that he lost a son in October of the previous year, and just 11 months later, he welcomed twins in October of the following year.
He also spoke about the significance of the month, October. His statement: “When my wife and I found out, we were shaking, and it was in the same month. My son passed last year in October, and my wife gave birth this year in October, so it’s crazy.”
In his statement, the singer emphasized the significance of maintaining faith and never giving up.
