“Never! I Can Never Be A Babymama To Any Actor”- Actress Temidayo Babatunde Speak On The Male Actor In The Yoruba Industry

Nollywood actress Temidayo Babatunde recently shared her perspective on the topic, stating that no woman is genuinely content with being a single mother or a baby mama, though certain circumstances may lead them into such roles.

She noted that the concept of marriage is evolving, with more discussions emerging about women opting for single motherhood or the “baby mama” lifestyle instead of traditional marriages, which some view as restrictive.

She stated, “To me, this decision is a personal decision and it has to do solely with the woman involved. If you take a closer look at this question, you will get to understand that no woman will be happy being a baby mama, but sometimes they can’t just help it. Destiny at times leaves us with no option or choice than to adjust and face it, so if you ask me well I think no woman will be pleased being a baby mama, of course everybody wants to live happily with kids and husbands but situations or destiny might not allow that to happen.” Temidayo emphasized that while no one dreams of this lifestyle, life circumstances sometimes make it unavoidable.

She further elaborated on the essence of marriage, describing it as a “life contract” based on commitment, trust, patience, perseverance, and love. “If any one of these is missing in a marriage, the marriage might tend to shake,” she said, stressing that the ideal situation for every woman is to be happily married with loving children. “The position of every woman in a marriage should be a happily married woman with lovely children. Every woman deserves to be happy and also have a happy home,” she added.

Having gone through multiple heartbreaks, Temidayo reflects on her experiences with a sense of acceptance. “You win some, you lose some,” she mused, viewing each relationship setback as a valuable life lesson.

In terms of relationships, Temidayo believes that age should not be a limiting factor. “You can date whoever makes you happy in every aspect,” she said with a smile, reinforcing her belief that love and companionship are about personal happiness, not societal expectations.

For Temidayo, her ambition in Nollywood is clear: “To win and keep winning.” This drive, along with her resilience, has already led her to several significant milestones, but she finds that true success extends beyond her career achievements. “One of the most unforgettable moments in my life remains the year I gave birth to my son,” she shared, highlighting how personal fulfillment, especially as a mother, is just as important as professional success.

As Temidayo continues to rise in Nollywood, her journey serves as a testament to the power of perseverance and dedication to one’s craft. With an ever-growing body of work and a passion for her career, she is undoubtedly a star to watch in the coming years. Her experiences prove that success is about more than just external accomplishments—it’s about finding balance and fulfillment in all aspects of life.
