Popular Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba has shared her emotional journey of discovering she had breast cancer and her current health status.
Speaking about her experience, she revealed that her doctor informed her she would need to be on medication for five years. During this period, she was advised not to conceive. This news was particularly concerning for her, as she turned 39 last year.
Recounting how it all started, Osoba explained that she first noticed a small, bean-like lump on the side of her breast while touching her body. Concerned, she visited a private hospital, where the doctor dismissed it as nothing serious, suggesting it could be due to her being at the childbearing stage without having given birth or breastfed.
However, as time passed, she continued to feel the lump, which eventually began to swell. Growing more anxious, she decided to undergo a scan. The results revealed a lump, which was subsequently removed. Believing she was fine, she continued with her life, unaware of what was to come.
Later, at a general hospital, she received the shocking diagnosis—it was cancer. The news devastated her, as she never imagined facing such a battle. Overwhelmed with depression, she turned to prayers, hoping for survival.
Following this, she returned to the hospital, where she was advised to undergo a CT scan to determine the extent of the cancer’s spread.
