On this Monday, Debola Okunneye, the son of the late Kunle Okuneye, tragically confirmed the news, stating, “Yes, my father passed away this morning, and we are currently in the process of arranging his funeral.”
Adding further validation to the somber report, Lastborn, a dear friend and colleague of the departed, who holds the position of Secretary at Beach Nigeria Enterprises, a car rental service situated within the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos where the late Okunneye held a directorial role, shared insights. He disclosed that the late Okunneye would be laid to rest according to Islamic customs, with the interment scheduled for 4 pm today.
“Yes, you saw it. It’s true, he will be buried by 4 pm today,” Lastborn confirmed.
