An emotional video circulating on social media captures Agidigbo FM CEO, Oriyomi Hamzat, in tears as an 18-year-old girl shares her heartbreaking story.
The young girl revealed that she tragically lost her mother after becoming pregnant while trying to raise money for her mother’s surgery, deeply moving viewers, including Hamzat.
She recounted that she had never known her father, as her mother single-handedly raised her and her 20-year-old brother. When her mother fell ill and required ₦80,000 for surgery, she turned to family for help but received no support.
The girl explained that in her desperate effort to raise the ₦80,000 needed for her mother’s surgery, a neighbor offered to help but ultimately got her pregnant instead.
She gave birth, but sadly, her mother passed away before the surgery could take place. After her mother’s death, the man abandoned her, leaving her alone with a four-month-old baby. She also revealed that her landlord has since evicted her, leaving her homeless and without shelter.
