Jayeola Monje, a well-known Nollywood actress, conveyed her distress and anxiety when she discovered herself stranded in a late-night traffic congestion along with her children.
Through her Instagram account, the actress posted videos of herself and her children walking home after being stuck in the traffic for numerous hours.
In her plea for assistance and prayers for her and her children, Jayeola expressed deep disappointment regarding the situation. She further appealed to the government to intervene and implement measures to prohibit nighttime operations of trailers.
Jayeola requested prayers, expressing her disappointment and frustration with the current situation involving trailers on Apapa Wharf Road. She mentioned that she was walking home with her children at night and urged the government to take action.
In an update, Jayeola expressed her gratitude to God for safely reaching home with her children. However, she mentioned that her driver was still stuck in traffic and hoped for his safe arrival.
“I’m thankful to God that I arrived home safely with my children. However, my car and driver are still stranded on the bridge. I pray for his safe return. Alhamdulillah, thank you all for your support. I’m home now. God bless you all. Eseun gan ni. I sincerely hope that the government will address the issues on Apapa Wharf Road.”
