Police PPRO Olumuyiwa Adejobi Gives Bella Shmurda 48-Hour Ultimatum to Report to the Station Regarding Mohbad’s Demise

The spokesperson for the Nigeria Police Force, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has expressed the police’s anticipation of Bella Shmurda’s cooperation in providing information related to the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s demise.

Adejobi stated that the information from Bella Shmurda, a close friend of the late rapper Mohbad, would be valuable for their ongoing investigation into the singer’s controversial death.

Notably, Mohbad passed away on Tuesday, September 12th, at the age of 27, prompting an official investigation into the matter.

The police department has made a general appeal for anyone with valuable information regarding the late musician’s death, including friends and family members, to come forward.

In addition, Kemi Olunloyo, a controversial self-styled investigative journalist, issued a 48-hour ultimatum on Saturday for Bella Shmurda to go to the police and provide information.

“Bella Shmurda,” she wrote on her X account. I’m giving you 48 hours to report to @PoliceNG and speak with @Princemoye1 or to force CID Ikoyi.”

Adejobi, a police spokesperson, quoted her message with the comment,“I am expecting to hear from him.”

In an interview, Bella Shmurda disclosed that Mohbad had made an attempted suicide following a dispute with Naira Marley’s record label, Marlian Music. He further mentioned that the late artist had been receiving threats during that time.
