Ifeoluwa Oladimeji Aloba, who is also known as Mohbad, sadly passed away at the tender age of 27, leaving his admirers and fans in deep sorrow.
On Tuesday, September 12, 2023, the news of the singer’s untimely demise was confirmed by entertainment journalist Ovie on X.
As of the time of reporting, the cause of his death remained unknown, according to Gossipinfo.
Before his passing, Bella Shmurda, a colleague of Mohbad, revealed the challenges he faced, including his tumultuous relationship with Naira Marley’s record label, Marlians, and how his fiancée played a pivotal role in preventing him from taking his own life.
Bella also criticized Naira Marley and his label for not accurately portraying the nature of Mohbad’s relationship with the management, shedding light on the complexities surrounding his career and personal life.

It is no longer news that Mohbad was signed to Naira Marley’s “Marlian Records” and left the label in 2022.
Last year, Mohbad posted clips of an alleged assault he suffered at the hands of the Naira Marley’s Crew after he requested to change his manager.
Naira Marley, responded to his accusation, by saying that he was lying as he spills teas about Mohbad.
Reacting to it, Mohbad released a full statement countering Naira Marley’s claims.
He stated the label owner’s side of the story is false and expressed how that justice will be served someday.
