Alhaja Hafsat Anifowoshe, the wife of renowned Nigerian Fuji musician King Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as Kwam1 or K1 De Ultimate, has passed away.
According to reports, she died earlier today after battling an unspecified ailment. The 65-year-old was laid to rest at the Abari Cemetery in Lagos, following Islamic rites.
In a statement, the Chief Press Secretary to the LIEL CDA chairman described Alhaja Hafsat as an exceptional woman and a devoted mother. He commended her life of service to God and humanity.
Offering condolences to her family and supporters, he assured them of his prayers and encouraged them to find strength in continuing her legacy.
“We know it hurts so deeply to lose a loving mother and dependable partner.
“You must, however, take solace in the time your mother spent on earth and her good service to God and humanity.
“Rest assured that our thoughts are with you, and our prayers are that you, the children, and all those she left behind will find the strength to continue where she stopped. May her soul find eternal rest,” the statement read.
Numerous celebrities have lost their partners in the last two years. Adedoyin Odunuga nee Odagi, the wife of gospel artist Dare Melody, passed away last year. On his Instagram page, he made headlines when he disclosed that his wife had passed away early on Thursday, October 24.
