Reactions Trails As OAU Student Lands In Hospital After 58-Hour Wash-a-thon

A 200-level student from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Subair Enitan, aimed to set a new Guinness World Record through a handwashing marathon but had to be hospitalized.

Earlier today, on Monday, November 27, Enitan concluded the marathon after 58 hours, exceeding her original goal of 50 hours.

The announcement regarding this development was shared across the marathon’s official social media channels.

A trending video making its rounds online features the young lady on a hospital bed and her hands have turned white and wrinkled as a result of the handwashing marathon.

Guinness world record has not announced Enitan as the holder of longest individual hand washing marathon.

It is worth noting that Enitan began on Friday afternoon, November 24, at the Student Union Building Motor park inside the University campus with thousands of students drumming supports for her.
