After a video of Nollywood actress Mo Bimpe in tears went viral on social media, the actress has finally broken her silence.
According to online reports, the wife of actor Lateef Adedimeji was allegedly reduced to tears after being mocked by a troll over her inability to conceive, despite being married for over three years. In the emotional clip that circulated on TikTok, Mo Bimpe could be seen shedding tears as a Muslim song played in the background — the lyrics referencing a barren woman being ridiculed for her childlessness.
Reacting to the viral video, Mo Bimpe revealed that she has been overwhelmed by the numerous DMs she’s received since it surfaced. She clarified that the emotional clip making the rounds was taken from a movie set, reminding the public that she is an actress playing a role.
Expressing her frustration, she cursed those sharing the video to mislead unsuspecting fans. Mo Bimpe assured everyone that she is perfectly fine and emphasized that she would never cry over personal issues or bring her private life to social media.

In an interview with Chude Jideonwo earlier this year, Lateef Adedimeji shared how he had proposed to Mo Bimpe over the phone and opened up about the online ridicule she faced for not getting pregnant. He revealed that although people often mock her with insensitive comments about infertility, his wife remains unbothered and strong through it all.
