“Rest Well Champ” – Davido mourns the passing away of his son Ifeanyi as its clocks a year today

Superstar Afrobeats musician David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, has been using social media to express his grief over the loss of his first child, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

It has been precisely a year since Davido and his wife lost their child Ifeanyi to the cold grip of death on October 31, 2023.

Remember that on October 31, 2022, at the age of three, Ifeanyi Adeleke drowned at his father’s Banana Island mansion?

After being taken to Evercare Hospital in Lekki, Ifeanyi was declared dead when they arrived. At this same moment, Davido and Chioma were in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Davido, who recently welcomed a set of twins with Chioma, pays tribute to his late son Ifeanyi and expresses how much he missed him in a song.

Taking to his verified page on the X platform formerly called Twitter today, Davido shares a dove symbol as a way to mourn the tragic death of his son Ifeanyi.

He also posted the same thing via the insta-stories section of his official Instagram page of 28.1M followers.
