Popular Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi has shared more details about comedian Oloba Salo’s condition at Evercare Hospital in Lekki, Lagos.

Oloba Salo, whose real name is Ojesanmi Afeez, was recently shot by unknown gunmen while driving in Lekki, leaving him hospitalized.

Reports indicate that the TikTok star sustained a gunshot wound to the leg, and his valuables were stolen during the attack.

During a live session with media personality Uncle Tunde Perry, Toyin Abraham revealed that comedian Oloba Salo’s condition was extremely critical. She explained that the medical team at the hospital worked tirelessly to stabilize him after he was rushed in.

The actress, who first heard about Salo’s situation through social media, shared that his body had already gone cold, leading to his being placed on life support. She further disclosed that Salo had undergone around four surgeries but has yet to regain consciousness.

Addressing the financial aspect, Toyin mentioned that the initial hospital bill amounted to N12 million, which was swiftly raised by celebrities like Zlatan, Mkiddo, Abu Abel, Sula, and others.

Overcome with emotion, Toyin admitted that Salo’s condition was far worse than she had imagined, leaving her in tears and deeply devastated upon seeing him.

In her words, “That N12m is like first aid. I’m not going to lie. The hospital did something impressive. They have been treating him before we got there. Guys, do you guys think Salo’s health issue was small. Life is different from social media. I was crying like a baby. Mkido turned to Alfa immediately.”

“Even Lagos state DPO visited us in the hospital. I could not share this on social media. The first payment the hospital asked from us was N12 million. Mkido, Zlatan, Tekunbi, Abati, Abu Abel, and others quickly dropped money. I just know that God has something for Salo’s life. You are not aware of what happened to Salo because we did not share it on social media. It was terrible. I saw it with my eyes. He was on life support, which was making sounds here and there. I saw bullets. He undergo 4 surgeries and was carried out by about 4 to 6 surgeons.”
