Recall that K1 De Ultimate lost his beloved mother, Alhaja Halimah Abike Akeredolu Adesanya (Anifowoshe), on January 18, 2025, at the remarkable age of 105. Her passing deeply affected the singer, with emotional videos of him mourning trending online.
In line with Islamic traditions, Alhaja Anifowoshe was laid to rest the same day, with a massive crowd attending the burial. Many dignitaries and A-list celebrities expressed their condolences, and a viral clip even showed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu calling K1 to console him during this difficult time.
During the Fidau prayer, Kwam1 shared heartfelt moments with his children, including Iluyomade, Halima Elele, Melissa Akanke, Sawatul Arafat, Anjolaoluwa Abike, and Damilola Basirat.
