Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, responded on social media to Rihanna’s declaration of his hit track “Unavailable” as her song of the year.
Rihanna, the Barbadian-American singer and mother of two, caused a stir on social media after singling out Davido’s song “Unavailable” featuring Musa Keys as her top pick during a recent Complex interview.
She added that the nostalgic bop “Unavailable” is not just her song of the year but emphasized that the track has always been on repeat.
Earlier today, December 20th 2023, Rihanna raised eyebrows as she was captured in an unaware state doing the “Unavailable” dance challenge at a recent event of her fashion brand, Fenty, The Creeper.
The billionaire singer effortlessly dished out the hand movement to the Unavailable dance as she was accompanied by her partner A$AP Rockey and members of Fenty team. Davido upon seeing the video responded with utmost joy and that was just the beginning.
Sighting the fresh video where Rihanna refers to his song “Unavailable” as her song of the year, Davido couldn’t keep calm.
He reacted to the video by referring to himself as a winner.
He said; “Nah me win.”
