Many fans and colleagues reacted positively when Nollywood actress Mide Martins knelt to thank her husband Afeez Owo for his unwavering support. At the recent Odunlade Adekola Film Production Award (OAFP) in Abeokuta, the movie star was named Best Actress of the Year.
Mide thanked God for the voyage, which she conceded had not been easy. She thanked Him for providing her the strength and ability to perform everything she does on a daily basis.
She also appreciated her husband as she noted how without him, there is no her. She thanked him for being there for her since she lost her mother.
“I want to say a big thank you to God Almighty, the journey hasn’t been easy at all. I say thank you to God for giving me the strength and the ability to do all that I do every time.
I want to also say thank you to my husband, my PR; without him, there is no me. He has always been there for me since I lost my mother, he is still there and will always be there”.
