In the countdown to her upcoming birthday in a few days, Omowunmi, the widow of the late singer Mohbad, has made a heartfelt request to Nigerians.
Through her Instagram story, she appealed to Nigerians to commemorate her husband on her birthday instead of herself. She expressed the bittersweet reality of celebrating her birthday without him for the first time in many years.
Omowunmi fondly described Mohbad as not just her husband, but also her best friend, confidant, and partner in conversation. She revealed that the most precious birthday gift he bestowed upon her before his passing was their son, Liam.
Begging his fans, she told them to celebrate the life the singer lived and to pray for his spirit.
