Lizzy Anjorin has opened up about her upbringing, sharing the realities of being raised without privilege alongside her mother.
She recounted times, particularly during Christmas and New Year celebrations, when they couldn’t afford new clothes. Despite financial struggles, her mother enforced a strict rule: never reveal disappointment, or face consequences including physical punishment.
Anjorin credits her mother for instilling a mindset of non-competition, shaping her attitude towards life where she doesn’t vie against others.
