Alebiosu, a well-known Yoruba actor, recently disclosed a surprising revelation about his experience in the industry.
He shared that despite acting in eleven scenes, he only received a token sum of 3,000 naira as compensation. To add to his disappointment, he expressed his frustration by mentioning that the amount didn’t even cover his transportation expenses to return home.
This situation sheds light on the unfavorable treatment of veteran actors and actresses in the Yoruba industry, highlighting the lack of support and fairness they receive.
Recalled that Famous9ja Report That Alebiosu has also expressed his support for Pastor Gabriel’s efforts in assisting veteran celebrities. He personally experienced Pastor Gabriel’s kindness when he faced health issues and was injured on a movie set. During that challenging time, the film industry rallied together to offer their support. Alebiosu further shared that when his rented apartment was ravaged by fire, it was Segun Ogungbe who generously provided him with 40,000 naira to purchase clothes. Despite his numerous collaborations with various celebrities, no other individuals came forward to offer assistance during that difficult period.
Alebiosu further conveys his deep respect for Pastor Gabriel Agbala and stresses the importance of recognizing his contributions in supporting veteran celebrities. According to Alebiosu, he believes that other organizations, like Tapan, have not demonstrated the same level of dedication in assisting those in need. Instead, he perceives them as primarily focusing on making public announcements and diverting funds intended for the well-being of veterans for their own personal gratification.
