The Nollywood entertainment industry is in mourning once again as legendary actor Olu Jacobs has passed away after a long battle with a protracted illness.
Movie producer Stanley Ontop shared the tragic news on his official Instagram page just minutes ago. The 81-year-old actor, who was set to celebrate his birthday in a few weeks, had been suffering from Dementia with Lewy Bodies (DLB) for an extended period.
He shared photos of the late actor with the caption: “Veteran actor Sir Olu Jacob has passed away after a long battle with illness. Rest with the Lord, sir. Shalom.”
It is worth noting that Nollywood also recently lost veteran actress Stella Ikwuegbu after a prolonged battle with leg cancer.
