“Ur ticket don cut” – Davido mocks Drake after losing N1billion as Anthony Joshua knocks out Francis Ngannou (Video)

Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has turned to social media to jest at Canadian rapper Drake as Anthony Joshua defeats Francis Ngannou in their recent boxing bout in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

On March 8, 2024, Drake made waves by placing a $615k bet, approximately N1 billion, on Francis to triumph over Anthony Joshua.

A victory for Francis Ngannou against Anthony Joshua would have earned him a hefty sum of $1,906,500, approximately N3 billion.

In an impressive triumph during Friday’s heavyweight bout in Saudi Arabia, Anthony Joshua delivered a knockout blow to Francis Ngannou in the second round.

The British star, Joshua, knocked down Ngannou in the first round and repeated the feat in the second round, ultimately securing the victory with a knockout punch at 2:38 of the second round.

Joshua has positioned himself for a chance at the undisputed heavyweight title and the victor of the Tyson Fury versus Oleksandr Usyk match.

In round one, Joshua dropped former UFC champion Ngannou with a clean right hand, repeating the feat in round two. After Ngannou rose from the canvas following the second knockdown, Joshua sealed the match with another right cross, rendering Ngannou unconscious.

The powerful right hand knockout left Ngannou unconscious on the canvas for over a minute, with him receiving oxygen, as reported by the DAZN broadcast.

With four consecutive victories since his two losses to Oleksandr Usyk, Anthony Joshua has showcased his resilience. In response to Drake’s bet on Ngannou, Davido cheekily commented, “Your ticket don cut.”
