Azeez Adeshina Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, has been apprehended by the Nigerian Police as part of an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the murder of Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known as Mohbad, a former signee. Iyabo Ojo, a Nigerian actress, has responded to the arrest.
The state police command’s spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the issue in a statement on Tuesday night.
He wrote, “Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley has been taken into custody for interrogation and other investigation activities”
Reacting to the news, Iyabo Ojo took to her social media to shares a screenshot of spokesman for the state police command, Benjamin Hundeyin and caption it with

Recall that the Naira Marley had earlier announced his return to Nigeria to assist in the ongoing probe of the death of his former signee, MohBad.
The singer revealed in a tweet on Tuesday, adding that he would also be meeting with the Police.
“I’d like to share that I’ve just arrived back in Lagos, Nigeria to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation. It’s important I do my part for Imole,”
“I’ll be meeting with the police with hopes for the truth to be uncovered and for justice to prevail.”
