Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo recently addressed a controversy surrounding one of Mohbad’s song lyrics through her social media account.
Several netizens believed that one of Mohbad’s songs, released before his untimely passing, alluded to his mother’s absence from his life for ten years.
In her clarification, Iyabo Ojo revealed that the lyrics were referring to “money” and not Mohbad’s mother.
She sought to debunk the false narrative surrounding Mohbad’s song “Sorry” from his previous album. This clarification aims to provide a more accurate understanding of the song’s lyrics and the artist’s intended meaning.
She wrote, Ten years i nor see money,ego ,kudi ,Owo that’s what he said . Not mommy please always check the lyrics of song well it’s important & even if it’s mommy he said abeg how does this help the case ?He loved both parents, which one come be una own . please stop sending me all this distraction please .
