Why I Regret Not Doing Yahoo Yahoo – Actor Aremu Afolayan Cries Out

Popular Nollywood actor Aremu Afolayan has sparked conversation online after openly expressing his frustration with the ongoing economic hardship in Nigeria.

Taking to his Instagram page, the actor revealed his regret for not engaging in “Yahoo Yahoo,” a local term for internet fraud, as he struggles financially despite his efforts to make an honest living.

Aremu Afolayan is a well-known figure in Nollywood, having starred in numerous films over the years, including “Idamu Akoto,” “Eji Owuro,” and “Afoju Meta.” He is also the brother of prominent movie producer Kunle Afolayan, as well as actors Gabriel Afolayan and Moji Afolayan.

Despite his success as an actor, Aremu Afolayan expressed that legitimate work has become almost worthless due to the sharp rise in the prices of petrol, food products, and other essential goods.

He wrote, “All of d days them dey talk about Yahoo Yahoo, na today I regret am pass say I no do am. Legitimate hustling never felt super useless”.
