Comedian Real Warri Pikin has explained why she declined the wedding invitation from musician Davido and his wife Chioma.
The couple’s traditional wedding, set for Tuesday, June 25, has garnered attention with videos and moments from their recent bridal shower circulating online.
Real Warri Pikin admitted she regrettably turned down Davido’s invitation because she is currently in Abuja working on her show, scheduled for June 28.
In a detailed video, Warri Pikin addressed the guests and media outlets attending the highly anticipated wedding, asking them to share the event on social media so she and millions of Nigerians who won’t be attending can still enjoy it.
The actress expressed her dissatisfaction with the camera angles at the bridal shower on the night of June 23. She advised the cameramen and videographers to ensure all angles are covered.
She also emphasized the importance of using the event’s internationally recognized hashtag, #Chivido2024. According to her, this will help Nigerians follow the wedding activities without having to jump between different blogs.
Additionally, Warri Pikin called out Davido’s aide, Israel DMW, noting that she wasn’t impressed with his enthusiasm and urged him to focus on his responsibilities.
