Despite the economic challenges, fuji maestro Wasiu Alabi Pasuma has demonstrated his philanthropic spirit by providing assistance to the residents of his community.
In a video circulating online, Pasuma is seen distributing food items to the people in the Mushin area of Lagos.This act of kindness by Pasuma was coined as “We rise by lifting others” – a daily palliative program aimed at supporting those in need.

Among the food items distributed at the Total filling station in Mushin were tubers of yam, rice, groundnut oil, Indomie, and spaghetti, among others.
The video was paired with a song by Pasuma, urging the government to address the hardships faced by Nigerian citizens and find solutions to alleviate their suffering.
