A Nigerian lady posted a video on TikTok showcasing an encounter her friend had with an elderly beggar, who confidently requested her to exchange the money she had given him.
Identified as @zhuleeqah, she explained that her friend had handed the beggar some money, only for him to return it, asking for it to be changed.
According to her, the beggar asked her friend to exchange the N100 note she had given him because it was slightly torn.
She further revealed that her friend was unaware of the torn state of the N100 note, as she had just received it from someone else.
The lady wrote; “So my friend gave this man #100 not knowing his turn after 5min he came back and asked her to change it where’s the world going have not experienced this before.”
Netizens reacting in the comment section said the lady could have collected the money and ignored him.
