During an exclusive conversation with Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, Pasuma shared his plans one year after the memorial service for his late mother, Alhaja Adijat Kuburat, who passed away in April of the previous year.
“People have been asking me this question for 20, 30 years, and here you are, still asking at this stage of my life,” Pasuma said in response to an inquiry about his plans for marriage. Don’t worry, I’ll be getting married shortly after we celebrate my mother’s first anniversary.

Pasuma clarified the rumors over his relationship status with popular Yoruba actress Iyabo Ojo, saying, “We have not dated before, and we are not dating.” We haven’t considered the notion. For us, it suffices that we are friends. “I can’t tell,” was how he responded to the majority of inquiries on his intentions to marry any woman in the future. When it occurs, I will be aware of it.
The fuji superstar, reflecting on the death of his mother, said, “It has happened with tremendous emotions. I am powerless to address it. I cherish my mother. I would have happily given anything in return for her life if that had been demanded of me. However, I have to let her go because it is what God desired. She’d been through a lot. I tried my hardest to look after her. Losing your mother or a loved one is difficult.
