Renowned Yoruba film actress Kiitan Bukola, who was previously involved with a married man, has opened up about the challenges she faced in moving on from the relationship.
In a video interview with media personality Damilola Banire, shared on Oyinmomotv’s YouTube channel, the actress candidly discussed her experience, admitting that ending the relationship was difficult as she found fulfillment in it.
Kiitan Bukola attributed her struggle to her upbringing in a polygamous family, where her father married multiple women and fathered 19 children. She suggested that many individuals may consider polygamous marriages as an option because they are dissatisfied with their previous marital experiences.
In her statement, she said, “Some people’s marriages are not perfect, the reason why some of them may decide to try another marriage.
“I came from a polygamous family, and there is a limit to what I can say when it comes to marriage because my father married five wives and has nineteen children.
“I dated a married man and I couldn’t leave him because I was enjoying the relationship.
